What a flat repair price includes, and what it never does

A flat price is only worth having if both sides know what sits inside it. Here is the line we draw, and we draw it the same way on every estimate we text.

What is always in

The parts for the job as written, the labor, shop supplies, disposal of the old parts and fluids, and a road test by the technician who did the work.

What is never in

Tires, dealer-only parts and anything we find once the car is apart. Those are priced separately, and you approve each line by text before we order anything.

What changes the number

Only three things: a second problem you approve, a dealer part you ask for, and an after-hours tow. All three are written on the estimate first, so you see the worst case before you say yes.

Why we show you the old parts

Because a price you cannot check is just a number. The old parts go in a box on your seat, and you can throw them away or take them to another shop.
